The world is now connected. Adults, businesses, schools, children, everyone is on the internet. While this brings lots of opportunities for education, communication and connectivity, the internet is also a place used by people that are looking to victimise, intimidate, oppress and bully others. We all need to be careful on the internet, and as parents we play an important role in protecting our children online.
Unfortunately bullying is all too common in our society, and universities and workplaces are not exempt from its impacts. Bullying takes many forms, often resulting in victims of and witnesses to bullying being unsure how seriously they should take what is occurring.
